Welcome to Xtensify ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our browser extensions including LockMyTab, LumaLyrics, TabFlow, MarkSwift, SoundLift, and LinkedScribe collect, use, and share information.
2. Data Minimization
Our core philosophy is data minimization. We believe that your browser data belongs to you. Unless explicitly stated for a specific feature (like Cloud Sync in TabFlow), our extensions operate entirely locally on your device.
3. Information Collection
Local Data: Extensions like LockMyTab and SoundLift store settings solely in your
browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your machine.
Contextual Data (LinkedScribe): When using LinkedScribe, the extension extracts the text and context of the LinkedIn post you are currently viewing to generate relevant comment suggestions. This data is processed transiently and is not stored on our servers.
Synced Data: If you use sync features (e.g., in TabFlow or MarkSwift), data is
encrypted and stored using the browser's native sync mechanism (chrome.storage.sync),
which is managed by your browser vendor (Google, Mozilla, or Microsoft) and adheres to their privacy
standards.
Analytics: We operate strictly with NO third-party tracking scripts, telemetry, or analytics pixels inside our extensions.
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
For feature-rich extensions like LinkedScribe, we use third-party AI gateways to process requests:
- OpenRouter.ai: Post content and user-provided API keys are sent to OpenRouter.ai via encrypted HTTPS to generate AI responses. This is the only external party data is shared with.
Some extensions may require "Host Permissions" to function (e.g., LumaLyrics accessing YouTube Music). These permissions are strictly used to inject functionality into the page (DOM manipulation) and strictly NOT used to harvest browsing history.
